Scribbled Notes of a Scattered Mind

Oh, I know, these are the thoughts of a scattered mind
And no, I don't know what they mean but they are mine
If I don't know what's going on in my head
Then how can I try to bring a girl to bed

To make a family
To make a home
To make a difference in the world
I must be brave
I must be strong
But I can't quite carry on

And I hear them calling in the back of my head
That the world is not quite done with you yet
And I scream at the top of my lungs, oh how I shout
I scream to the lord above 'Can you help me out?'

To make a family
To make a home
To make this world a better one
I must be brave
I must be strong
But I can't quite carry on

As I scribble down the notes that are pouring from my brain
I think to myself that there's something here to gain
For this is my story, one that only I can pen
And I'll keep on writing until the very end

So that I can make a family
So that I can make a home
To make this world a better one
I must be brave
I must be strong
I must carry on

I will make a family
I will make a home
I will be the difference in the world
I will be brave
I will be strong
Most importantly I will carry on

Redamancy

Tossing and turning around in my bed
Racking the brains out my head
I've taken steps, yeah, I've been taking sides
But there's nowhere left to run and there's nowhere left to hide

All I ever hear are our brief conversations in passing
All I ever hear is how you loved yesterday
All I wanna ever tell you is how much I love you
But I just can't find the words to say

You're like a dream, I don't want to wake up from
But I'll wake up one day and you'll be gone
So I'm holding on to this moment, I'll never let it go
I think you know I love you but I don't know if it shows

All I ever hear are our brief conversations in passing
All I ever hear is how you loved yesterday
All I wanna ever tell you is how much I love you
But I just can't find the words to say

I'll think about the times before you and me
But the more I think about it, the harder it is to see
You're my my last thought before bed and the waking thought in my head
I'm holding on to this moment
I'm holding on to this moment
I'm holding on to this moment and I'll never let it go

Something comes to me
Something you used to say
About how all we are are exploding stars and we'll be black holes one day
Something comes to me
Something you used to say
About how all we are are exploding stars and we'll be black holes one day

I remember our brief conversations in passing
I remember why you loved yesterday
I'll tell you how much I love you
I've found the right the words to say
I've found the right the words

TTFBS

All I wanna do is talk, talk, talk
But I can't seem to speak, speak, speak
And you only talk that fucking bullshit to me
Talk, talk, talk
Speak, speak, speak
That fucking bullshit to me

You'll be talking about some random occurrence that happened to you today
I'll try to give some input but I won't know what to say
You look at me as if asking 'What the fuck is wrong?'
I'll slowly start to realise you were talking bullshit all along

I'll try to remember our past conversations but nothings standing out to me
As if maybe
They just didn't happen

Now you'll be screaming in my ear
About the bullshit I didn't hear
Something about a day or a year
Before we know it, night will be here

When all I wanna do is talk, talk, talk
But never get to speak, speak, speak
Whilst you talk that fucking bullshit to me
Talk, talk, talk
Speak, speak, speak
That fucking bullshit to me

I'll try to think of Future conversations
But nothings coming to me
As if maybe
They'll just never happen

I know I can't talk, talk, talk
But I love it when you speak, speak, speak
I just wanna hear you talk that fucking bullshit to me
But maybe
It'll just never happen

She Says

All she ever says is we've all seen better days
And nothing can change that now
So lets move on with our lives, no more secrets, no more lies
Nothing can change that now

And she'll take me by the hand and she'll walk me down the road
She says its our last stand and we don't know where to go
She'll look at me and smile with a teardrop in her eye
Ill say only one more mile, there's no need to cry

All she ever says is we've all seen better days
And nothing can change that now
So lets move on with our lives, no more secrets, no more lies
Nothing can change that now

She'll turn to me and whisper a secret in my ear
I'll lean in to kiss her and hope she never disappears
There's a tear rolling down her face as she says goodbye
We've come to the place that makes our love die

All she ever says is we've all seen better days
And nothing can change that now
So lets move on with our lives, no more secrets, no more lies
Nothing can change that now

And ill take her by the hand and lead her down the road
I'll say it cant be our last stand cause I know where to go
She turns to me and says we've all seen better days
Promise me no more lies and that we'll never change
